*Unfortunately due to Covid this has now been cancelled.
With COVID-19 still playing a major part of our lives, the usual acts of remembrance will need to take a different format this year. We are all facing hardships and losses beyond anything we have experienced previously, but none of it compares to what was happening all those years ago. However, this doesn’t mean we can’t still remember and pay our respects to all those who gave their lives so we can all live ours the way we do. The war cannot be forgotten or overshadowed by what is happening in the world today.
Typically, remembrance day falls on the second Sunday in November, this year it falls on the 8th. Many will pay their respect and give remembrance on both the 8th and the 11th of November this year.
In honour of remembrance day, Edinburgh Self-Storage has been thinking up covid-safe ways to commemorate all that sacrificed so much. It took some thinking, and this year, at 11 am on the 11th of November, we are putting six pipers on top of the HQ building.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Pipers who are giving their time to be part of this momentous occasion
