buildings inside which we provide secure storage rooms for business or
personal use. The rooms are available in 25 different sizes.
What
are the rooms like?
Constructed
of steel, our rooms and lockers are clean, dry and totally secure. For
customers storing files we will install shelving to ensure the most efficient
use of space.
How
private are they?
Totally. You lock your own room. You keep the only key. Only you or your authorized representatives have access to your room.
How secure are they?
Edinburgh Self Storage has 24-hour electronic security, closed circuit television, and central station linked alarms using the BT redCARE system.
Can
I access my room when I want?
You, or your authorised, have totally free access to add or take from your storage room during our extensive opening hours.
All we ask is that you sign into the facility on each occasion and sign out on departure.
How long can I stay for?
You decide. You may occupy a storage room for a couple of weeks or as long as you like.
How do I pay?
Simple. You deposit 4 weeks’s rental as a refundable security deposit and then pay monthly for as long as you require. Our charges are inclusive of fees, rates, lighting and security. There are no hidden extras.
What about insurance?
Your present insurance may cover your goods whilst in temporary storage. If not, or if you are taking long term storage, we can organise cover at very competitive rates.
Can you help me move in?
We can recommend removal companies for furniture or office equipment. You may use your own couriers for delivery or retrieval. On site there is an assortment of easy to use moving equipment at your disposal free of charge. There is also a full range of packing materials (boxes, tape and bubble wrap available for sale)
How flexible is Edinburgh Self Storage?
With the option to reduce or increase your storage area, you have the flexibility of paying only for the area you require.
